As of 1st June 2021, we have implemented some changes that will affect the way we handle your purchases in the UK. SCP Automotive's parent company SCP Automotive Ltd is now VAT registered, which means we will be collecting VAT on behalf of HMRC. This includes services which are carried out by our sister company Onyx Tinting & Wrapping.
What is VAT?
VAT stands for Value Added Tax. It is a general tax placed on almost all goods and services sold. Consumers pay a tax on the products they buy based on the value of the product. This means that the greater the price, the more the consumer pays.
How is VAT charged?
At scpautomotive.co.uk, VAT is included in the price of the item and shipping. This means you won't see any nasty surprises at the checkout.
