No, only the box and all connections necessary for the installation are included. This item is an add-on for your existing system. If your MINI does not have a display, this item isn't compatible.

Our MMI box works by transmitting audio via AUX.

If you have an NBT system, please ensure that you have enabled the AUX option in the original iDrive multimedia system.

If you have an EVO system, please ensure that you have enabled the USB option in the original iDrive multimedia system and you've correctly connected the USB/AUX converter.

Please also check that your volume is turned up accordingly.

Please refer to your handy digital fitting guide and ensure that the correct switch codes have been enabled.

Standard procedure:

For 6.5" display, you'll need to enable switch codes 1 and 2.
The code pattern will be: [ 1 1 0 0 0 0 0 0 ]

For 8.8" display, you'll need to enable switch codes 1, 2 and 3.
The code pattern will be: [ 1 1 1 0 0 0 0 0 ]
